What to Splurge on this National Splurge Day

June 18th - National Splurge Day | F.M. Light and Sons | Western Clothing

Today, June 18th – is National Splurge Day. Don’t believe me? Read the proof here.

It makes sense, really. We all work so hard, and a little splurging makes the heart glad. What’s that saying, “All work and no splurging makes Jack a dull boy?” Well, not quite – but we think it’s still a good holiday to celebrate.

“I denied myself nothing my eyes desired;
I refused my heart no pleasure.
My heart took delight in all my work,
and this was the reward for all my labor.” – Ecclesiastes 2:10

So, here’s our suggestion for splurging this special, guilt-free day. We have a couple, actually.

For the Ladies:

Nothing but the best – Old Gringo Boots. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. So, we have a lot of pictures for you, to do all the explaining. We’ll sum it up in a few words: Perfect Cowgirl Style.

For the Guys:

There’s nothing better than a good hat. O’Farrell Hat Company makes the finest pure beaver hats you can buy. As O’Farrell says:

“There’s something about wearing a
truly fine Custom Cowboy hat that
excites a person. We feel it, too and
have been hand-making fur felt hats
here in
America using old world
techniques for 30 years.”

They make truly amazing hats that will last you a lifetime and beyond. Read more about O’Farrell here.
