Johnson & Held Buckles – Feature in Cowboys & Indians Magazine
A brand we carry here at F.M. Light and Sons was featured in the latest issue of Cowboys & Indians Magazine.
We’re huge fans of Johnson and Held; they create absolutely stunning buckles that are handmade using many different types of precious stones inlaid in metal (learn more about Johnson and Held).
Pictured here is a stunning and intricate tribute to the California poppy, with mirrored flowers in silver and the traditional golden yellow. The centerpiece of inlaid turquoise is perfectly accented with contrasting orange spinney and bloody basin jasper. The California Poppy buckle is absolutely beautiful!
Imbued with the colors of the setting western sun, dark red jasper gives way to vivid oranges and yellows with a stunning turquoise centerpiece. The inlaid stone petals are set in a unique circular frame and surrounded with hand-etched silver detailing. This is the Call Me Wildflower buckle. Doesn’t it look stunning when paired with those Old Gringo Boots?
Aren’t those two buckles simply amazing? Remember, Johnson & Held makes many, many buckles. They even made all the buckles for Star Trek (William Shatner and Leonard Nemoy would call and place their order). If you’re interested in a unique buckle for a gift, (or for a splurge!), Johnson and Held can make it for you.
Cowboys & Indians Magazine paired these beautiful collections. View their entire collection: Fall Fashion 2012: Western Elegance – they’ve created looks “that blend the extravagance of the Old West with modern sophistication.”
