What happens when Warren Miller Entertainment comes to Steamboat and makes a short film about the Cowboy Downhill ski race?
Not much that you wouldn’t imagine, actually. Just a lot of skis, cowboys, and snow. Which is to say that we absolutely love it! Those three ingredients are basically what make Steamboat such a great place to live, so we really couldn’t ask for anything better. We were especially excited that Warren Miller decided to bookend the film with shots from the store, including a cameo from Lightning, our mascot horse. It’s a fun film and we are happy to be able to share it with you.

The video is part of Warren Miller Entertainment’s film tour, “Chasing Shadows”, which of course features incredible footage of skiing all over the world. This preview of Warren Miller’s visit to Steamboat is probably one of our favorite from any of their videos that we’ve seen. We have always enjoyed their films and now we are bigger fans than ever.
