This year’s Rodeo Kickoff Party was once again a great way jump in to our summer festivities.
This year we had live music from our favorite band, the Yampa Valley Boys. Their music always attracts passers-by and compels them to stop for a while and enjoy a perfect summer afternoon. And that what makes the rodeo kickoff party so much fun; it’s just an informal event for anyone who has a few extra moments to enjoy the moment.
We loved visiting with our usual friends as well as all the visitors that stopped by. Everyone enjoyed great music and free root beer floats and popcorn. We also gave away some rodeo tickets. After all, the beginning of rodeo season is the excuse we are using to throw a party.
