Steamboat Springs is a ranch town. It’s good to remember our roots and the men and women who made a life here in this beautiful Yampa Valley. So, F.M. Light and Sons was proud to sponsor a few western-themed events this summer and fall!
Yampa Street Live Goes Western
Each month through the summer, Yampa Street Live hosts an event filled with activities, food, beer and fun! September’s theme was western (obviously we thoroughly enjoyed that one!).
There was country music, line dancing (plus instructions so you could be a pro), a mechanical bull, and a 4H farm. We provide sheriff’s badges to all the kids who attended the event. Here are a few photos from this fun event!

Rotary Club Barn Dance for the Boys and Girls Club
The Rotary Club put together a good old fashioned barn dance for the boys and girls club! F.M. Light was a sponsor, and we hd a great time at the event! There was music, a raffle, kids’ activities, barbecue and a barn dance! Check out the pictures of this great western event!
