After months of discussion and rescheduling, Disney has announced that the new Lone Ranger movie will begin filming in 2012, and will release a year later – on May 31, 2013.

Actor Johnny Depp will play Tonto, alongside Arnie Hammer’s Lone Ranger.

Yeehaw!
