Hi Jeanne,

Aren't the Pendleton wool ponies great? We love them. :) We do not currently have an online store, but we'll be launching one soon! We'll definitely let you know when that happens! Until then, you can call the store and speak with a salesperson, who will help you find anything you are looking for - we ship all the time. :)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you too! I am wondering if you sell online too. My sister-in-law lives in Rifle, but we haven't been out there in quite a while. Still love the western clothes and all of the accessories (we live near South Bend, IN). I really love the Pendelton Wool Ponies! How beautiful! I realize the chances are slim that you have online sales, but I have to ask.

Thank you, Jeanne

About your wonderful sales lady Denise Adams. I purchased a pair of cowboy (girl) boots about a year ago, when visiting my son in Steamboat. I live in CT. Since then, I have lost about 40 pounds and the boots no longer fit. (too big, yahoo) They were only worn a couple times indoors. I was blessed with the dealings of Denise upon my phone contact to your store. Denise not only helped me thru the whole process of returning/searching/replacing the boots, she did it with fantastic friendliness and professionalism one would expect from such a reputable outfit. I want to thank Denise from the bottom of my heart. I am so happy with my new Ariat boots, and the exposure I have had with your store, now and a year ago. F.M. Light & Sons IS my favorite store, hands down !!! Take care, and be well everyone !! Diane from the Sunnycrest Farm

Brandon, except for the fabricated talking horse bit, this should be an authentic account of the iconic"Lightening". Your collaborator has impeccable credentials for source material. I never had the opportunity to sit astride Lightening but my two sons have. Hopefully old Lightening will have several more rejuvenations, something we mortals are not able to do. Thanks for a piece of history well written.

Are the stetsons still made in the good ol USA? When did stampede straps begin to be used? Thanks for the news. Here in Minnesota I'm tired of stocking caps. Giddy up Spring time.
